Excellent video. The thermisters work best when high accuracy is required over a defined temperature range. They are more complex and expensive than a Type K thermocouple.

The thermocouple is fairly rugged provided that the junction bead at the end is not damaged. They work over a wide temperature range and only require a simple milivolt measurement to determine the termperature. The thermocouple has 2 wires made from different metals and joined together at the end bead. The 2 different metals generates a milivolt reading that is correlated to the temperature at the junction.

K-type sensor (thermocouple) is not a resistor….it’s a Seebeck voltage which changes 41 microvolts per degree C.

Sir, i would like to ask about the problem of the daikin multi split indoor unit working fine and not blinking but the outdoor compressor and fan are not working, the PCB is also problem ?

For anyone that says you can't check suction / liquid line temps and pressures on inverter driven mini splits / heat pumps, READ THE F*CKING MANUAL (RFM).

We install LG's, And we use $139 Bluetooth module from LG that plugs in to the control board That works with a laptop or a smartphone, and you can see every measurement known to man, superheat, subcooling, voltage, operating heating/cooling capacity and efficiency, you name it. You can use it to run diagnostics if there's anything wrong (Which is super rare if you take the time to install it correctly)

Then you save the report, and send it to the customer or the building department, etc in place of a commissioning form. Done!
