Wes Montgomery - Cariba
Details
Wynton Kelly on piano
Johnny Griffin on tenor saxophone
Paul Chambers on bass
Jimmy Cobb on drums
This in one of the greatest Wes guitar solos EVER.. Just destroys your brain..🤯 AMAZING...
Full House was released, November 1962. Amazing live recording made at Tsubo in Berkeley, California, on June 25, 1962. The stereo is wonderful. The quality of the recording, made on presumably half-inch tape, is perhaps explained by the Berkeley jazz radio station, KJAZ-FM, also being housed in the same building.

Great song
The whole band is just killing it
The resumption tempo and melodic line (i'm doubtfull, if it's the right expressions? ) between 'piano - Wes- sax' is breathlessly...i'm sick!, sick, please a doctor !(because too much hapiness)!!!
Does anyone know what kinda ride cymbal is used in this? It sounds awesome !
Winton Kelly was driving the train, till he let Dr. Golden Thumb take the lead. What a ride!
Pleased to see so many viewers appreciate tenor sax man Johnny Griffin together here with
the amazing Wes Montgomery. The tenor solo here is constructed brilliantly, no words can describe
That Griffin is breathing fkn fire!!
And Wes is SHUH-redding!!!!...as always....always....allWes....😎🎶
