DC should stop copying marvel
DC trailers suck...are way less captivating than Marvel
If only they had stuck to their formula. Unfortunately, Marvel fell out of love for the characters, their fans and money...
Disagree, on Marvels character consistency, the first Thor and Ragnrarok are very diffterent. Loki is different, The Hulk changed in Ragnarok too. I could go on
Cool, but I care more about the actual comics that most of the moviegoers don't read, and DC edges out in that regard. I enjoy some Marvel comics, but DC hits different for me.
I started out with DC but went over to Marvel because it is much easier to get a feel for their characters as individuals with unique personalities. Both in the comics and in cinema, Marvel makes stories about human beings with special powers, while DC usually makes stories about special powers with an incidental human being attached. The spectacle is there, but the human connection is missing. No need to give each superhero a special weakness like kryptonite. At Marvel, the weaknesses are often their own personal flaws that they have to work against.
Civil War absolutely feels forced. It's downright idiotic.. of course real life has massively exceeded all levels of fictional idiocy in the last decade.
They also make better tv shows than dc

While many of the recent comments says that this video didn't age well, I think this video actually aged super well. Once Marvel abandoned their character first approach and instead focused on making their third act as big as possible.
This video gives me nostalgia for when Marvel was actually good.

Marvel heros are more relatable then DC?No fucking shit. That's been true forever. That's the difference between the brands you idiot.
DC tends to be more allegorical and dark portraying there hero's as God's. Marvel is more relatable and light hearted and basically portays there heros like humans trying to overcome themselves
DC doesn't work on the big screen because perfect characters aren't compelling. And dark and gritty looks bland af in a live action movie.
Making them the Avengers strips away the core of what makes them interesting and just turns them into watered down crap.
