I’m slowly realising that Yuri Lowenthall voices about half of the characters in this game, which shouldn’t surprise me after all the NPCs I heard with his voice in the Hitman games, yet here we are cause holy shit this guy is everywhere. This quest is the most egregious so far, and I sincerely hope he was paid handsomely for it.

I recently learned there are a few other ways to open the very hard locked door. You can either find one of the mission holotapes on the dead paladins, get far enough into the main story to be asked to deal with the brotherhood, or gett far enough into ED-E's companion quest to be contacted by Lorenzo asking the courier to bring ED-E to Hidden Valley.
Sends a paladin to "Boomer" territory.

Call me sensitive, but I hate slavery. As soon as they kicked me out of the bunker with that collar on my neck, I looted my items, picked the lock again and killed all of them. Looting the elder automatically disabled my collar, and then I found a nifty little terminal that had an option to blow up the stronghold. That was my first interaction with BoS in the game.
My first play through i sides with harden but I think if I could run fallout vegas without crashing every 5 seconds I would try McNamara this time.
I know this video is old but I wanted to give a tip at 29:36 you can see a Breaker on the pillar just under where ED-E is. To make isolation considerably easier flip the switch on the breaker and that will shut every terminal down with the exception of 3. That makes doing the isolation quest less tedious than jumping blindly trying to find the correct terminal
Been playing this game since it first came out. On my most recent playthrough I was talking to Elder McNamara and my girlfriend goes "hey, it's Sauske!". Now I can't talk to the elder without picturing Sauske
I sided with Cesar my first play through and I went in here with a rocket launcher and decimated everyone then destroyed the bunker

Regarding the Robco vaults.
It wouldn't be surprising in the slightest for a large industrial power like that to have some caches hither and tither with their own gear.
